Maintenance
The maintenance department ensures the smooth operation and efficiency of all Spectra site equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Planned maintenance of machinery
- Reactively attending to machine breakdowns to minimise machine downtime
- Continually working on projects to improve quality and machine cycle times
- Refurbishment of machinery to increase longevity
- General site maintenance
- Planting trees and flowers on our 17.4-acre site.
The department also continually appraises improvements for environmentally friendly machinery, L.E.D., and sensor-controlled lighting. The team also includes apprentices, all gaining valuable on-site training from our highly skilled, experienced team.
