Jonathan Powell, Sales Director at Spectra, said,
“The London show continues to provide an excellent platform for us to highlight our product offerings as well as the business as a whole. We fully understand that innovation and creativity continue to play a key role in an ever-evolving industry. However, it is equally important that we also meet the environmental challenges that lay ahead with a positive approach. We have worked hard to develop and prescribe innovative environmental solutions and these efforts are proving very popular with customers”.
The prestigious two day UK event will be celebrating its tenth year and will gather packaging, marketing and branding professionals from across the industry, providing a festival of branded, inspirational, premium and bespoke packaging.
Among the features on Spectra’s stand will be a central display highlighting the firm’s “Four Step Sustainability Commitment”. The presentation aims to show that Spectra’s environmental ethos extends way beyond the products they make, something Jonathan was only too keen to elaborate.
“Our aim has always been simple – to continue reducing our impact on a per-container basis. As such the environmental measures we take as a business extend far beyond just material choices. These actions include advances in energy efficiency and waste management within our factory to internal single-use staff behaviour and responsible choices for packing materials. We passionately believe we have an obligation in leading by example”.
Spectra will also be showing some customer projects segmented into various categories, including finished packs in PCR and sugarcane-based biopolymer, standard and custom packs and decoration and finishing. There will also be a selection of PCR and biopolymer jars on display as well as new component additions.
Packaging Innovations is at London Olympia on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th September where Spectra will be on stand D22.
